Nuclos App Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Nuclos app (the “App”). It explains which personal data is processed when you use the App.

3. Purpose and function of the App

The App is a generic client for a Nuclos system. It connects exclusively to the server you configure yourself. The App itself does not perform any processing of your content data and does not transmit any data to the App provider.

4. Data stored on the device

For sign-in, the App stores locally on your device: the configured server address(es) and, if you enable it, your credentials for biometric sign-in. This data remains on the device (in the operating system’s secure keystore when biometric sign-in is enabled) and is not transmitted to us. When you sign out, stored credentials for the respective server are deleted.

5. Communication with the Nuclos server

All content data (business objects, documents, reports, etc.) is exchanged exclusively between the App and the server you have chosen (encrypted via HTTPS, provided the server supports it). The operator of the respective Nuclos server is responsible for processing this data. Please refer to that operator’s privacy notices for the data processing carried out there.

6. No tracking, no advertising

The App does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services and does not set advertising cookies. No user profiling takes place.

7. App Store / billing

The App and any subscription, including a free trial period, are handled through the respective app store (e.g. Apple App Store). Purchase and billing data is processed by the store operator under its own responsibility; we only receive anonymized or aggregated sales information from it.

Insofar as the App processes personal data, this is done to fulfil the usage agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure and functional operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and data portability (Art. 20), as well as a right to object (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
