Integrations & interfaces

Integration for every business process

Connect systems efficiently: Nuclos links data, applications, and decisions in integrated workflows.

For us, integration is more than technical interfaces. We analyze your landscape, remove media breaks, and implement connections that run reliably in day-to-day operations.

Integration is more than interfaces

Connected processes across your systems, not isolated technical point solutions.

Performance Accuracy Transparency Flexibility Data protection

Many projects start with how to connect system A to system B. In practice, it is grown island systems: inventory management, a shop, and accounting running side by side instead of together. Anyone who enters an order in the shop and later re-enters the same data in accounting or the warehouse loses time and risks mistakes.

We review your existing applications, identify exactly these gaps, and connect data, systems, and users into one continuous process (opens in new tab). Less manual work and waiting time improve performance, consistent data without duplicate entry ensures accuracy, and status, inventory, and open items stay visible at all times for more transparency. The solution stays modularly extensible for more flexibility as new applications and processes emerge, while centrally controlled, GDPR-compliant permissions keep data protection in place.

How we support you

When goals are clear but the workflow is not: we translate requirements into processes and interfaces.

  1. Landscape analysis

Together we review applications and identify where data is maintained twice, processes need manual coordination, or information is inconsistent.

  2. Interface design

Based on the analysis, we define which systems communicate, which data flows, and how processes should be automated.

  3. Implementation

Interfaces are built in Nuclos. We use existing APIs where they fit; custom connections are developed when needed.

  4. Evolution & adaptation

New applications and changed processes are normal. Integrations can be extended and adjusted at any time.

Typical integration examples

From mid-market projects: finance, retail, logistics, and custom sales processes.

Finance & accounting

DATEV and banking connections for automated document transfer, account reconciliation, and payments.

E-invoicing & electronic documents

XRechnung and ZUGFeRD for compliant invoice processes, including public-sector requirements.

Webshops & e-commerce

Synchronization of orders, customer data, and product data with Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and custom shops.

Interfaces at a glance

Eleven standard connectors out of the box, always extensible with your own interface.

REST interface

Nuclos is API-first: the generic REST API is the central entry point for integrations and stays open for your own extensions from day one. It provides read and write access to every modeled object, with a unified schema and endpoints for GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE. Generated directly from the configuration, it stays consistent, extensible, and easy to test.

GET /rest/bos/customers # Fetch customer data
POST /rest/bos/customers # Create a new customer
PUT /rest/bos/customers/42 # Update customer with ID 42
DELETE /rest/bos/customers/42 # Delete customer with ID 42

Finance & communication

XRechnung & ZUGFeRD

Import and export for electronic invoices (opens in new tab), automatable and compliant. Relevant for high invoice volumes and public-sector clients.

DATEV

Structured exchange of master data and documents (opens in new tab) in DATEV format. Documents and posting data reach finance without extra transformation.

Banking & finance

Interfaces for account reconciliation, direct debit, and transfers. Data is validated, transferred securely, and embedded in finance processes.

Email

Automated sending of invoices, notifications, and status updates directly from processes, traceable in the system.

Retail & e-commerce

Webshops

Connection of Shopify, WooCommerce, and other shops. Orders, customer data, stock, and status flow both ways.

Amazon

Import incoming orders, trigger order and shipping confirmations, reconcile warehouse stock automatically.

Logistics & production

EDIFact

Standardized message exchange with suppliers and logistics partners for orders, despatch advice, and invoices.

Logistics

Shipping processes with DHL, UPS, Schenker, and others: labels, tracking numbers, and delivery information in ERP.

Barcode & QR scanners

Real-time capture for warehouse, production, and retail. Post receipts, issues, and stock movements automatically.

Shop-floor data capture

Connect shop-floor devices to Nuclos: feedback on operations, times, material consumption, and machine status for planning and reporting.

… and your interface

Nuclos is API-first and fully open. Custom integrations, industry interfaces, and specialized devices can be added without vendor lock-in.

Frequently asked questions about integration

Answers on interfaces, the REST API, and custom integrations for IT and leadership.

How long does it take to connect a new interface?
The standard connectors are quick to activate through configuration. We plan custom integrations as their own project, with a fixed scope, price, and delivery date.
Is the REST API publicly documented?
Yes. The REST API is part of the open dev portal, with references and examples for developers and IT teams. It is generated directly from your configuration and can be extended from there.
What happens if an interface isn't on the list?
Nuclos is API-first and fully open. If a standard connector doesn't exist yet, we build it on the REST API, without waiting on an external vendor.
How secure is data transfer between systems?
Data flows run through defined, logged interfaces. Permissions and transfer paths are centrally controlled and support GDPR-compliant operations.
Can legacy or industry-specific systems be connected too?
Yes. We review your existing systems and data flows and build the right connections, including for legacy systems without a modern interface.
