4.2026.24.1
Maintenance release on the 4.2026.24 line. Overlay detail view, server-side bulk processing, layout zones, and the add-on SDK from 4.2026.24 land in the patch line. It also brings consistent status names, actions grayed out up front, and smaller improvements to column selection, number formatting, and the dev proxy, plus fixes for the print dialog, dashboard filters, and tab navigation.
New features
- Detail overlay in list and Kanban view. Clicking a row or card opens the detail view as a dialog without switching tabs. The pencil button still opens the dedicated tab.
- Web add-on variant B. Bundles can be stored on the server and served via
GET /meta/addonfile/{webAddonId}. The client prefers variant B and falls back to the static variant on error. - Layout zones (
layoutcomponent) rendered. Layout elements render as widgets; the add-on SDK receives aLayoutComponentContextAPI. host.executeCustomRulein the add-on SDK. Rules can be invoked via POST; InputRequired dialogs run through a modal dialog host.
Improvements
- Bulk processing via REST. Status changes and custom rules in list view use the
CollectiveProcessingservice. Checkboxes are also available for entities without a status model. - Localized status names in filter chips and Kanban columns.
- Status-change and rule buttons respect server restrictions and are grayed out in the client.
- Column selection: preference name capped at 255 characters. Prevents HTTP 500 on entities with many long column names.
- Integer values without thousands separator. Whole numbers are no longer grouped.
- Dev proxy: target instances with arbitrary Tomcat context.
Bug fixes
- Print dialog: target window, error text, and Boolean parameters corrected.
- Status chips in list rows no longer set a filter; they open the record.
- Dashboard task lists: fall back to
searchFilterIdfor unknown filter IDs. - Delete from detail view activates the result list; back arrow closes clone tabs correctly.
- List header scrolls horizontally with the content.
- Bulk processing custom rules offered as the intersection across all selected records.
