Nuclos Workspace
Your individual ERP, built and managed yourself with AI
When business software does not match how you work, adapt the ERP, not the company. Nuclos Workspace is the environment for that. Configure with Nuclosian where you already work.
- Nuclosian: AI in the client, with clear approval before every change
- Nuclos MCP: the same tool layer for developers
- Open source (AGPL), on your infrastructure or our cloud
Why Nuclos Workspace
Because AI can adapt the software you work in directly. No workarounds in an external chat, just solid workflows.
Live in the client
AI sits in configuration mode above the tools you are editing. Same session, same UI. No extra tool, no parallel chat.
Facts instead of guessing
A knowledge base and real server data steer the answers. The model understands; it does not invent data or rules.
AI without a black box
Every write proposal is transparent: you see the change, review it, and confirm. Only then is anything applied.
Meet Nuclosian
The assistant in configuration mode. Propose, review, approve.
Nuclosian is the assistant in the configuration mode of the Nuclos 5 web client. Business and IT model and configure on the open tool, status model, or rule. Proposals with review and approval before anything is applied; backups if something goes wrong. For teams that want to adapt themselves. The same tool layer is also available as MCP for developers.
Below is a typical flow on the returns example: field "Affected batch". Nuclosian proposes, you correct. Diff and approval stay with you.
- Sparring AI proposes, you correct and approve.
- Validation Rules and platform patterns before every change.
- Quality gate Diff, review, and approval before apply.

How solutions take shape
Three steps take Nuclosian from request to solution.
-
Context from the client
Nuclosian detects the active tool, selection, tenant, and language. You do not type IDs.
-
Facts instead of guessing
Role, Nuclos knowledge base, specific tool descriptions, and best practices feed the answer. Only what is needed is retrieved. That keeps results fast and reliable.
-
Apply only with approval
Write actions show a changelog. Your configuration changes only after an explicit Apply. Backups remain available.
Security & approval
Compliance and AI Act conformity are built into Nuclosian from the start.
Superuser only
Same access as the user’s manual configuration mode. Rights follow the signed-in person, no all-powerful service account that could be abused.
Diff before apply
Writes are announced and confirmed. Where possible always with a dry run: rule or status model checkable before anything is created.
Audit & data residency
Calls and results are logged. Language model cloud or local is selectable, optionally with field masking.

Nuclos Dev Workspace
The same factual base is also available as MCP, with broader configuration options.
Most teams start with Nuclosian in the client. When your IT needs custom clients, apps, or integrations, the same tool layer is available as Nuclos MCP.
Nuclos MCP for developers
How the MCP tool layer relates to Nuclosian and Workspace, which domains the catalog covers, and what IT should watch for with session, permissions, and custom clients.
- MCP is the open tool layer, not the Nuclos Workspace offer.
- One catalog: metadata, rules, layouts, entities, records, write actions.
- Same governance as in the client: user session, allow-list, audit.
Nuclos Workspace FAQ
Short and concrete: Nuclosian, approval, MCP, and who Workspace is for.
- What is Nuclos Workspace?
- Nuclos Workspace is the environment where business and IT adapt their individual ERP themselves. At the center is Nuclosian in the client configuration mode: proposals with diff and approval before anything is applied.
- What is Nuclosian?
- Nuclosian is the AI assistant in the Nuclos web client (configuration mode, superuser). It helps with workflows, screens, and process logic. Writes happen only after human review (diff, then Apply).
- What is Nuclos MCP?
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a tool layer for developers. The same factual and action base that sits with Nuclosian in the client is available for custom clients, apps, and integrations. Human-in-the-loop remains required.
- Who is Workspace for, and when is Nuclos Enterprise the better fit?
- Workspace fits when processes change often or you prefer to build yourself. Nuclos Enterprise is guided delivery at a fixed price, in 30 days on agreed scope. Both use the same Nuclos 5 platform and can be combined.
- Do source code and data stay with us?
- Yes. Nuclos is open source on an AGPL basis. Source code, data, and decision rights stay with you, on-premise or in the Nuclos Cloud.
