Tooling & Nuclets

Versioning, project control, and Nuclets for teams that develop Nuclos like software.

Changes to the model and extensions can be versioned, linked to issues, and rolled out repeatably. Nuclets package configuration as a separate artifact, distinct from the Nuclos core.

AI-assisted configuration in the client still requires approval.

Git integration

Every change to the model and extensions is versioned, like professional software development.

  • Connect GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket (Partner: self-hosted)
  • Branches per feature, release, or client project
  • Pull-request workflow with review before merge
  • Tags and releases for production states
  • CI hooks for automated builds and tests

Jira integration

Requirements and development stay linked from epic to deployed build.

  • Link Jira issues to Nuclos artifacts
  • Status sync between Jira issues and development progress
  • Traceability for audits and project controlling
  • Sprint and release planning with deployment targets
  • Optional: Confluence links for specifications

Deployment automation

From development to target environment, repeatable, documented, and rollback-capable.

  • Pipelines for dev, test, and production
  • One-click or gate-controlled promotions
  • On-premise, private cloud, or Nuclos hosting (DE)
  • Migration and configuration packages
  • Automated rollback and release notes

AI in configuration

Nuclosian as an accelerator for modeling, rules, and UIs, with approval in the dialogue. Start via Nuclos Workspace.

  • Context from the active tool and selection, without naming IDs
  • Write actions with diff and Apply confirmation
  • Nuclet knowledge base: core always, detail on demand
  • Partner: custom models and data residency by agreement

Nuclets

Configuration artifacts, separate from the Nuclos core, exportable and versionable.

A Nuclet is the software artifact of your business application: entities, screens, processes, rules, workflows, and reports. It stays separate from Nuclos and can change at runtime without recompiling the core.

Nuclets can be exported and imported between instances. Combined with Git and CI, they are the unit for reviews, releases, and rollbacks.

  • Strict separation of Nuclos core and application configuration
  • Export and import across development, test, and production
  • Versioning via Git branches, tags, and pull requests
  • Master Nuclet and dependent Nuclets for modular projects
