Thermal technology
heatsystems automates documents with Nuclos DMS along lot-size-one production and replaces parallel tools for document storage.
In thermal technology, manufacturers run quotation, order, and production on Nuclos. Individual products and variant-rich production stay transparent and adaptable.
In Nuclos we found the ideal solution so we are not dependent on a rigid software product again. The logical UI enabled a short onboarding time with a significantly expanded functional scope.
heatsystems Elektrowärme-Technik GmbH and Co. KG develops, produces, and sells industrial electric heating components, mostly in lot size one. For years, the company ran a rigid ERP alongside separate tools for CRM, document management, and Office-based lists. These parallel systems created media breaks at every step: documents had to be maintained in multiple places, and production steps could not share a single data foundation with quotation and order management. Post-calculation, material capture, and production steps each drew from different sources, making accurate tracking slow and error-prone.
Nuclos consolidates all core processes on one data foundation. Quotation and order management, post-calculation, material capture, and production steps now run together. Documents are generated automatically and stored in the correct location in the integrated DMS, eliminating the need for a separate document management application. Modules could be added shortly before go-live because adaptations are possible without an external service provider. The previous add-on tools for CRM and document storage became redundant.
Manual duplicate maintenance is eliminated. Production and document flows are centrally controlled on one platform. Business users make adaptations independently without vendor involvement. The logical interface kept onboarding time short despite a significantly expanded functional scope, and heatsystems is no longer dependent on a rigid, unchangeable software product.
