NGN Fiber Network GmbH and Co. KG in Aubstadt operates one of Germany’s largest fully owned fiber networks, with more than 19,000 km of infrastructure. Customers include industrial companies, data centers, cell towers, and municipalities. Strong growth in fiber demand required an end-to-end order management system to handle the full commercial process from quoting through contract management to automated invoicing. Fragmented tools and manual steps were no longer scalable for the volume of contracts and customer interactions the business had to manage.

Solution

Nuclos maps the complete order process for fiber line management. Quote calculation, contract management, and invoicing run centrally on one platform. Invoices are generated automatically from contract data and dispatched digitally, reducing manual intervention in the billing cycle. Reporting functions provide the operational data needed for day-to-day decisions. Twenty years of customer and order data were migrated to the new system. Accounting and technical order processing were connected via interfaces. Preconfigured industry functions for telecommunications reduced the implementation effort and shortened the project timeline significantly.

NGN Fiber Network went from project start to live operation in four months. The system supports faster responses to customer requirements and provides greater transparency across project workflows.
