Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH in Erwitte sells and rents construction machinery from Komatsu and Sennebogen. Individual machine configurations are central to the business: each customer quote requires a combination of chassis, attachments, and service packages that must be technically valid and commercially priced correctly. Before Nuclos, configuring quotes manually was time-consuming and error-prone. Errors in quotes and billing cost time and margin, and the existing tools did not connect sales, project management, and invoicing in one consistent workflow.

Solution

Schlüter Baumaschinen uses Nuclos to map the full sales process from first customer contact through pre-calculation to contract. A machine configurator applies rules that automatically exclude technically unrealizable combinations, reducing quote errors at the source. Technical configuration and commercial sales processes share the same data foundation. Project management and invoicing are connected to the same workflow. Adaptations to the configurator and sales logic are made using the Nuclos toolkit, without requiring deep programming knowledge. Result

Since 2012, Schlüter Baumaschinen has generated more than 15,000 individual quotes with a team of 20. License costs are eliminated. The system continues to operate reliably and adapts to new requirements without large upgrade projects or external development work.
